Winemaker’s Notes
Cloudy Bay Sauvignon Blanc put New Zealand on the map with its captivating flavor. Their signature style is famous for its vibrant nose, mouthwatering palate and long finish. Stone fruit and citrus stand out, while minerality (think rain on river stones) provides balance.
Critic Ratings
Wine Spectator Review – Rated 93:
Concentrated and fragrant, with lemongrass, lemon verbena and celery salt notes to complement the pineapple, mango and lemon curd flavors, plus a touch of orange sherbet. Gains momentum on the long, expressive finish. Drink now. 293,000 cases made, 8,000 cases imported.
James Suckling Review – Rated 92:
Vivid, round and juicy, with lemons, limes, fresh herbs and some mild spices on the nose, following through to a medium body with fresh acidity. Lively and succulent, with a delicious finish packed with limes.
