Description
Amador Double Barrel Chardonnay Cask takes a less conventional route to maturation, finishing the spirit in Chardonnay wine casks so the barrel itself shapes much of the character. The result lands somewhere between wine and spirit, bottled at 43.4% ABV in a 750 ml format.
Expect white fruit up front, followed by oak-driven vanilla and a rounded, buttery texture. Oak aging supplies the weight, while the fruit and aromatic side keeps things refined through an elegant finish made for slow sipping.
