Majority comes from the Wenzlau Vineyard. Organically farmed. In the cellar the wine is a combination of barrel and tank fermentation using native yeast. Winemaker, Justin Willett. Pure, fragrant lemon and grapefruit with the merest hint of oak spice. Lots of freshness and tension even with the fullness in the mouth. There’s a slight friction in the texture which enhances the freshness. Bone dry but full of lightly spiced lemon fruit. Very youthful for a 2017. (JH)
