Ava 2025 is an off-dry STILL natural wine crafted by , in the Rheinhessen region in . Jasmin Swan states that “Here with Ava we have 60% Cabernet Blanc and 40% Kerner. 5 days semi carbonic each. Separated and blended during winter. Ava is an off dry sweet wine, just like Soley was in 22. Soley became pretty popular, people enjoying some sweetness for a change and the wine was a favorable choice for the wine pairing in some restaurants for cheese courses especially.”
We think this orange with a touch of sweetness is REALLY COOL! the off-dry aspect makes it a delight to drink and it is not really sweet in that sense, just a touch that lifts it up! After a little touch of smoke on the nose we enjoyed a palate which was of peaches, herbs, honeyed apricots, white flowers, toffee hints, bruised apple and fig. Very fun, very cool, very interesting!
