Description
Petite Robe 2024 is a natural wine crafted by , in the Savoie region in . This wine is made with grapes.
Petite Robe is Jean-Yves’ most approachable skin-contact white, made from Jacquère grown on limestone and clay at the foot of Mont Granier in Savoie. Jacquère is the classic local grape of the region, usually made as a light, crisp white, but here it spends time macerating on the skins, which adds colour, texture and a bit more depth.
Like all of his wines, its with no added sulphites and should be drunk in one swift sitting, as they do not often hold overnight. The 2024 comes in at just 9.5%
This shows the fresh, bright side of Jacquere, with orchard fruit and a gentle grip from the skins. A great first step into Savoie orange wine, and (dangerously !) easy to drink. But please remember to drink in one sitting, which is not difficult with this one!
