Description
Hendrick’s Orbium is a fresh take on the classic Scottish gin. Master Distiller Lesley Gracie kept the usual Hendrick’s base, cucumber and rose included. Then she added quinine, wormwood and blue lotus blossom.
The quinine echoes a G&T, and the wormwood echoes the vermouth in a martini. The result is a that feels familiar yet new.
Floral lotus and juniper lead the nose, with a little citrus. The palate is sweet and round. The long finish turns gently bitter.
Serve it with tonic, ice and cucumber slices, or stir up a martini. Look for the dark blue bottle with the “all-seeing eye” on the label.
