Glen Moray Chardonnay Cask is a Speyside single malt Scotch whisky finished in casks that previously held Chardonnay, part of the distillery’s wine cask maturation work. The white wine influence shapes a flavour profile distinct from standard oak maturation.
The nose and palate lean on citrus and orchard fruits, with subtle oak influence behind them and a dry finish. It sits between wine and whisky traditions, showing what an alternative cask finish can do to a Speyside malt.
