Bottled at 54% ABV — 108 proof — Zumbador Overproof Blanco is made from Tequilana Weber Azul agave grown at 6,922 feet in the Altos de Jalisco. The higher strength pushes agave forward on the nose, while the palate leans into accentuated citrus, with grapefruit and lime zest running alongside crisp agave in even balance.
Maestro Roberto Lopez oversees production using traditional tahona crushing and copper pot distillation, artisanal methods refined over six years of work. The hummingbird on the label is a sacred emblem of resurrection in Mexican culture, the namesake of the tequila. Sold in a 750 ml bottle.
