Description
One’s milage can vary significantly when aging Yvon Métras’ wines, but from my cellar, the 2017 Fleurie is performing quite well, even if I preferred it a few years ago. Exhibiting aromas of rose petals, cherry pits, smoked meats and spices, it’s medium to full-bodied, sweet and fleshy, with powdery tannins that assert themselves on the finish and a touch of spritzy residual carbon dioxide.
