Description
Named for Yu, the Bushido virtue of courage guided by awareness and balance, this Japanese whisky is matured in Mizunara casks and bottled at 40% ABV. Fruit and floral notes lead the aroma, followed by honey, orange peel and white chocolate that build in layers rather than all at once.
The palate stays smooth and approachable, showing character without weight, before a mellow close carries a soft touch of oak. Presented in a 750 ml bottle, it is made for quiet sipping and holds its own on its own, pairing boldness with restraint.
