Yellowstone Select is a Kentucky Straight Bourbon from Limestone Branch Distillery. It’s made by Paul and Steve Beam, seventh-generation distillers from a famous bourbon family. They blend bourbons aged four and seven years, then bottle it at 93 proof.
The brand itself goes back to 1872, when J.B. Dant first created it. The Beam brothers brought it back in 2015 as a tribute to their family’s distilling roots.
Pour a glass and you’ll notice leather and dried fruit, with a hint of citrus and smoky oak. On the palate, spicy rye leads into dried cherries. Smoked caramel follows close behind. The finish is rich with brown sugar.
