Yamato Mizunara Cask Gold Samurai Edition is a Japanese whisky bottled at 40% ABV in a 750 ml format. Its character comes from maturation in mizunara oak, a wood rarely used in whisky production, along with a distinctive sandalwood cask influence.
Mizunara lends aromatic qualities and delicate spice that set this bottling apart. On the nose and palate, expect sandalwood and incense alongside vanilla, subtle citrus, delicate spice and light oak.
Released as a limited Samurai Edition, it reflects Japanese artisanal tradition applied to whisky maturation.
