Description
Woody Creek Rye Whiskey is a full rye mash spirit distilled in-house at the brand’s Basalt, Colorado facility. The mash bill is 100% Colorado-grown Elbon rye, cut with Rocky Mountain water and produced in small batches.
It rests a minimum of five years in new American oak with a #3 char. The result is a bold whiskey led by spice, clove, pepper and oak.
The palate opens with the rye spice you’d expect from a 100% Colorado straight rye, then finishes on cinnamon, fruit and vanilla. Bottled at 45% ABV in a 750 ml bottle.
