Rye makes up 30% of the grain bill in this Colorado bourbon from Woody Creek Distillers, a ratio built to push spice forward while the remaining 70% keeps the whiskey firmly in bourbon territory. Bottled at 47% ABV in a 750 ml bottle. The high-rye recipe shows up as black pepper and rye spice running alongside caramel sweetness and oak, with a peppery close. It’s a craft-scale look at how mash bill choices shape the glass.
