Description
This is the old fashioned Woodinville Whiskey Co. mixes in-house, pre-batched into a 750 ml bottle that holds 12 cocktails. Woodinville Straight Bourbon carries the base, with real maple syrup and orange bitters stirred in, and the blend then spends time in a barrel that once held the same bourbon. That ex-bourbon barrel finish is what adds the oak and caramel depth behind the maple.
At 80 proof it stays bourbon-forward, with maple sweetness and bitter orange kept in balance rather than letting any one part run away. Serving takes nothing more than a pour over a large cube, and a twist of orange peel if you want one.
