Description
Woodford Reserve Double Double Oaked is a bold and refined bourbon that offers a distinctive twist on the classic Woodford Reserve. This special release undergoes a two-step maturation process: first, it is aged in traditional oak barrels, and then it is transferred to a second, heavily toasted barrel that’s been lightly charred. This double barreling method creates a rich, layered flavor profile that’s smooth yet complex.
The result is an exceptionally full-bodied bourbon with deep notes of caramel, rich vanilla, toasted oak, and dark chocolate, balanced by hints of dried fruit and a touch of spice. The second barrel imparts a warmth and depth that elevates the typical bourbon experience, making it perfect for sipping neat or savoring in a premium cocktail.
It’s an ideal choice for those looking for a whiskey with sophistication and intensity, a true masterpiece for bourbon enthusiasts.
