Description
Swapping wheat in for rye, Willett 8 Year Wheated Bourbon is built on a mash bill of corn, wheat, and malted barley and matured as a Kentucky straight bourbon. That softer grain keeps the profile rounded, letting sweetness and barrel influence take the lead rather than spice-forward grain.
Eight full years in oak give the whiskey depth, and bottling without chill filtration leaves its natural oils intact. At 115 proof (54% ABV), the 750 ml bottle carries real intensity, though the richness stays balanced from the first sip through the finish.
