Distilled from a rye mash, this whiskey from WildRye arrives at 49% ABV in a 750 ml bottle. The grain does the talking here, with peppery rye spice leading the way and a firm proof that keeps the flavor sharp rather than soft. Behind the spice sits a thread of grain sweetness and a subtle oak note, giving the pour some balance without pulling attention from the mash bill. It’s a straightforward, rye-forward pour built for drinkers who want the grain front and center.
