West Cork 12 Year Port Cask Finish Irish Whiskey is one of a series of three spirits made from 100% malted barley, matured first in bourbon barrels and finished in port casks. The Irish whiskey aroma is surprisingly port-forward, with notes of blueberry, fresh mint, fudge, and vanilla-tinted barley. The palate continues the bold port character, with flavors of juicy berries balanced by malt loaf spread salted butter. The finish is long, with malted dark fruit, cinnamon, and honey flavors.
