Description
W.L. Weller 12 Year is the original wheated bourbon, built with wheat in place of rye in the mash bill for a softer, smoother pour than traditional Kentucky bourbons. This Kentucky straight bourbon whiskey is aged 12 years and bottled at 90 proof (45% ABV) in a 700 ml bottle.
The nose opens with lanolin, almond, creamed corn and toasty vanilla. The mid-palate is heavily wheated, layered and moderately sweet, leading into a long, oaky and intensely smooth finish.
Best served neat or on the rocks.
