Description
Vuelo Del Aviador Grand Reserve Extra A\u00f1ejo brings together two separately matured tequilas: one aged five years in whiskey barrels, the other seven years in red wine barrels. The marriage of the two casks builds a layered, cognac-leaning sipping tequila at 40% ABV, offered in a 750 ml bottle.
The nose opens with sherry oak, candied orange, and soft florals. On the palate, chocolate, caramel, and mocha give way to dried apple and apricot, while the finish runs long and elegant on dark fruits and dry oak in the style of a fine XO cognac.
