Volando Joven Oaxaca is an unaged artisanal mezcal from Oaxaca, Mexico, distilled from 100% agave. It is bottled at 40% ABV in a 750 ml format. The profile leads with bright cooked-agave character carried by light smoke. Expect fresh agave, green pepper and citrus on the nose and palate, with smoke running underneath. As a joven, it rests in no cask and goes straight from still to bottle, which keeps the agave front and center. It works neat or in mezcal cocktails.
