From Lovingston, Virginia, in the Blue Ridge Mountains, this American single malt from Virginia Distillery Co. spends a full seven years in oak before bottling. It starts with 100% American malted barley, distilled in hand-hammered copper pot stills that lend the spirit weight and texture, and the extended time in wood builds structure and layered flavor.
Because it is drawn from a single barrel, each bottling carries the particular character of its own cask. In the glass, soft malt sweetness sits alongside orchard fruit, toasted oak, and a delicate honeyed note.
