Description
Bottled at 46% ABV in a 750 ml format, Courage & Conviction Bourbon Cask from Virginia Distillery spends its maturation in traditional bourbon barrels. American oak shapes the profile throughout, leading with vanilla and caramel before brown sugar, oak and spice fill in behind them.
The elevated proof gives the whisky weight and carry on the palate, holding its shape when poured neat and standing up well in premium cocktails. It’s a straightforward look at what bourbon cask maturation contributes to American whisky.
