Caramel and butterscotch lead the way in Courage & Conviction, the flagship American Single Malt from Virginia Distillery. As it moves across the palate, the whiskey turns toward bright red fruit and raspberry, with cocoa, barrel spice and vanilla filling in behind them. The finish is creamy and exceptionally smooth, closing out a whiskey bottled at 46% ABV (92 proof) in a 750 ml format. It’s a straightforward look at what single malt made in Virginia tastes like.
