Bad Girls is a collaboration between Alanna LaGamba and four other female winemakers working across France and Spain. Each of them makes their own individual wine under a shared label concept, and this is the first edition.
Alanna’s is 100% direct-press Chardonnay from old vines rooted in limestone around Flonheim in Rheinhessen, aged slowly in oak with no sulphur added. It sits at 13% alcohol.
Expect a lovely reduction and then generous yet fresh, ripe fruit, limestone tension and the texture that comes from extended slow neutral oak barrel ageing. Super lovely!
