Artist Yinka Ilori reworks the shape of a traditional calabash into a contemporary bottle holder for this limited-edition Sun Totem, paired with Veuve Clicquot’s Yellow Label. Built from upcycled materials using 3D knitting technology, the piece pulls together yellow, orange and blue tones in a design showing protective hands wrapped around the sun, read as a sign of joy and togetherness.
The totem is more than sculpture: it holds the 750 ml bottle at temperature for up to 90 minutes. Inside, the champagne is crisp and finely structured, with citrus notes, toasted brioche and an elegant complexity at 12% ABV. Released as part of the Chasing the Sun collection, it’s a collectible object rooted in light, optimism and sustainable craftsmanship.
