Description
This limited edition single barrel pays tribute to Nearest Green, the Tennessee master distiller and teacher his family and friends called Uncle Nearest. The maple charcoal filtering process he helped refine more than 160 years ago gave his whiskey its polished character, and that same approach shapes what’s in the bottle here. Bottled at 60.55% ABV in a 750 ml format, it drinks velvety and buttery with a faint trace of pepper.
Each barrel is selected from toasted casks, a choice that builds depth and keeps bold flavor in balance through a smooth finish. Victoria Eady Butler, fifth generation descendant of Nearest Green and four-time Master Blender of the Year, recommends tasting it alongside your favorite chocolate.
