Description
Behind Trujillo Blanco Tahona is a volcanic stone wheel that slowly crushes cooked blue agave, pressing out juice along with the fibrous character the tahona is known for. Bottled without aging at 40% ABV in a 700 ml format, it keeps the plant front and center.
The pour leads with fresh agave and green, herbal tones, followed by peppery spice and a lift of citrus. Skipping the barrel leaves a weight and texture that separate it from blanco tequilas made with modern milling alone.
