Winemaker’s Notes
Tori Magna Felsong Pinot Noir 2020, hailing from Santa Barbara, graces the glass with a deep ruby red hue, promising a visually striking encounter. As the aromatic journey begins, the wine unveils an enticing bouquet dominated by ripe red berries, notably succulent red cherries and cranberries. Complementing this fruity allure are subtle notes of cinnamon and a hint of vanilla, creating an olfactory experience that heightens anticipation.
On the palate, the wine achieves a delightful equilibrium, marrying bright acidity with a medley of flavors. Red currants, black raspberries, and nuanced plum undertones dance on the taste buds, with the coastal influences imparting a refreshing minerality that adds layers to the overall profile. The wine concludes with a lingering finish that artfully balances the sweetness of the fruit with a touch of savory complexity. Silky tannins provide structure, and a subtle earthiness enhances the depth, leaving a lasting impression that encapsulates the unique terroir of Santa Barbara.
