Description
The Yamazaki Mizunara 18 Year Old, 2024 Edition is a Japanese single malt matured exclusively in rare Mizunara oak for close to two decades. The wood leaves its mark clearly, giving the whisky an exotic, incense-like character with real depth.
The color is deep amber. Aromas and flavors move through dark cherry, ripe stone fruit, sandalwood, coconut and exotic spice, closing on a long, silky finish of clove, dried fruit and warm Mizunara oak.
Bottled at 48% ABV in a 700 ml format, it holds elegance and power in balance, reflecting Suntory’s approach to cask selection and maturation.
