Description
The Whistler P.X. I Love You Single Malt is an Irish single malt whiskey bottled at 46% ABV in a 750 ml bottle. It spends at least nine months finishing in Pedro Ximenez sherry casks, and the fortified wine’s influence carries clearly through the whiskey.
That cask finish shows in dark fruit and chocolate flavors. The nose leads with dried fruits and brown sugar, and the opening is wood forward.
On the palate it is viscous yet crisp, with the dried fruit and brown sugar joined by walnut, zesty citrus and a hint of leather.
