Twelve years in barrel shape this Caribbean rum, bottled at 40% ABV in a 750ml format. The long maturation brings oak and vanilla forward, with tropical fruit, caramel and a subtle thread of spice filling out the palate. Extended time in wood allows the flavors to knit together rather than sit apart, giving the rum a rounded, integrated character. It works served neat and holds its own as the base of a premium cocktail.
