Description
Bottled without time in wood, The Producer Espadin Maguey Joven pours at 44% ABV with the espadín agave front and center. Nothing sits between the spirit and the plant: fresh agave leads, followed by green citrus, earthy mineral notes and a restrained thread of smoke.
The joven style keeps the profile clear and unmasked, which makes it a straightforward look at how espadín behaves on its own. The one-liter bottle gives plenty of room to work through traditional mezcal character at a steady pace.
