Madre Cuishe agave sits at the center of this Reserva del Maestro bottling from The Lost Explorer, distilled by master mezcaleros working in the traditional Oaxacan manner. Bottled at 45% ABV in a 750 ml format, it reflects the particular character that comes from this specialized agave variety.
The profile layers complex smoke over mineral, earthy notes, with citrus lift and herbal depth running through the middle. A spiced finish closes it out, carrying the terroir of the agave through to the last note.
