Description
Benachie from The Lost Distillery Company is a Scotch whisky bottled at 43% ABV in a 750 ml format. It was built from archival research into a Scottish distillery that no longer operates, with production methods chosen to reflect how that whisky was once made.
The pour leans on heather and honey, with orchard fruit filling out the middle and a thread of grain running underneath. Subtle smoke sits at the edges rather than the center, and the moderate strength keeps those traditional Scotch characteristics clear.
