Description
Drawn from Carsebridge cask 160237, filled in November 1965, Release 42 captures six decades of maturation at a distillery that has long since closed. This single grain Scotch spent its life in an ex-bourbon cask, developing natural grain sweetness into layers of fruit, toffee and seasoned oak.
Flavor Profile
Toffee, clove and baking spice on the nose, with toasted almond and crème brûlée on the palate. Fruity sweetness gives way to oak spice and a gentle peppery warmth.
