Description
The Hakushu Single Malt Japanese Whisky Peated Malt 18 Year is a rare, refined release bottled as a 100th Anniversary Edition, marking Suntory Whisky’s centenary. It is built from carefully selected malt whiskies aged a minimum of 18 years, with peat shaped by Hakushu’s mountain climate and the distillery’s pristine granite-filtered water.
The result is an elegant reading of peat rather than a heavy one: gentle yet complex smoke unfolds with sage, green apple, pineapple and herbal layers, followed by grapefruit and acacia honey. The finish is clean and lingering, accented by fresh green citrus.
Bottled at 48% ABV in a 700 ml format.
