Description
The Glenlivet 12 Year Old is the distillery’s signature single malt Scotch whisky, presented here in a 375 ml bottle at 40% ABV (80 proof). It is first matured in traditional European oak, then finished in American oak casks — a double oak approach that lends the whisky its distinctive smoothness along with notes of vanilla.
Gold in color, with floral aromas recalling summer meadows and tropical fruit, pineapple most of all. The palate is well balanced and fruity, with strong pineapple carrying through alongside marzipan and fresh hazelnuts.
Smooth and sweet fruit notes lead into a long, balanced finish that reflects the house style at 12 years of age.
