Description
The Glenlivet 12 Year Old is a Speyside single malt Scotch whisky that represents the distillery’s signature style. It is first matured in traditional European oak before finishing in American oak casks, a double-oak approach that gives the whisky its distinctive smoothness and notes of vanilla.
Gold in color, with floral aromas of summer meadows and tropical fruit, most notably pineapple. The palate is well balanced and fruity, carried by those same strong pineapple notes. Bottled at 40% alcohol by volume (80 proof).
This 750 ml bottle is offered together with two samples. All barley is sourced from farms within a 50-mile radius of the Speyside distillery and distilled twice in copper pot stills.
