Description
The Glenlivet 12 Year Old Jamaica Edition, Treasure Beach, is a Speyside single malt with a tropical twist. It ages for 12 years in European and American oak. Part of it is then finished in Jamaican rum casks.
This is the first bottling in the Beyond Speyside series. Its name comes from Treasure Beach, a quiet spot on Jamaica’s south coast.
Fresh mango, pineapple and coconut lead the nose, along with a burst of green apple. Juicy pineapple, vanilla and toffee follow on the palate. The finish is smooth, with velvety caramel.
Enjoy it neat, over ice or with a splash of water. Grilled pineapple, dark chocolate or aged cheese make good partners.
