Description
Lot no 29 of Tesseron’s XO Exception and Beyond is built from long-aged eaux-de-vie, assembled into a cognac that carries real weight and layered character. Bottled at 40% ABV in a 750 ml format, it reflects the extended maturation the XO classification calls for.
The glass leans on dried fruit and oak, with vanilla and caramel filling out the middle and tobacco, walnut and leather trailing behind. The ‘Exception and Beyond’ name points to the house’s aim of working past the usual benchmarks, and this is a bottle meant for close attention and special occasions.
