Description
For this release in the Expresiones series, Corazon rests its reposado tequila for nine months in barrels that previously held W.L. Weller C.Y.P.B. bourbon. Bottled at 40% ABV in a 750 ml format, the result is a lightly sweet pour carrying dried fruit and warm baking spice from its time in wood.
The aroma opens with citrus, ginger and mint, which lead into a palate of cooked agave, vanilla and more citrus. A touch of black pepper spice arrives on the finish, closing out a smooth and balanced reposado with clear barrel character.
