Templeton Strout Cask Finish Limited Release Rye is a 750 ml American rye whiskey bottled at 46% ABV, or 92 proof. It takes Templeton’s rye base and carries it through a secondary cask finish, a limited release built around contemporary barrel finishing.
The cask treatment adds dimensional complexity to the whiskey’s foundation. Expect spiced rye up front, oak tannins and caramel through the middle, with the finishing nuance and peppery spice closing things out.
