Description
Teeling Wonders of Wood Single Pot Still Chinkapin Oak is an Irish whiskey built around an unusual maturation choice: Chinkapin oak, a wood that leaves its own distinct mark on the spirit. Bottled at 50% ABV in a 700 ml format.
The single pot still character comes through with orchard fruit and honey, followed by spiced wood and a creamy texture. The result is complex, with the cask playing as large a role as the distillate.
This release reflects Teeling’s ongoing work with cask finishing and wood chemistry, applied here to a single pot still Irish whiskey.
