Bottled straight from the barrel at 57.5% ABV, this 750ml rye from Taconic Distillery goes out uncut and unadjusted. Skipping dilution leaves the whiskey’s full weight intact, with rye spice hitting hard alongside the pull of oak. Pepper and spice run through the middle, and the finish stays bold all the way out. It’s a pour aimed at drinkers who want the rye character at its most concentrated, with the spirit’s complexity fully on display.
