Description
Three years in the barrel and three states in the making: this rum is conceived in California, aged in Florida, and finished in Minnesota. Its time in ex-Rye casks lends a nod to American whiskey tradition while the spirit builds a profile of its own, with caramel and vanilla threaded through a quiet line of spice.
On the nose, sweet molasses and vanilla lead, followed by touches of tropical fruit and baking spice. The palate is smooth and rounded at 44% ABV, with enough layered detail to hold up neat or to anchor a well-made cocktail. Bottled at 750 ml.
