Description
Bacanora comes from Sonora, Mexico, and stands on its own as a category apart from tequila. Sunora Bacanora Blanco is bottled unaged at 42% ABV in a 750 ml format, leaving the agave character of the region untouched by wood.
The spirit leads with agave, joined by citrus, herbal notes and a turn of peppery spice before a clean finish. Without barrel time, the regional agave varietals and the distillation methods behind bacanora stay in plain view, giving drinkers a direct look at the category.
