Sugar Island Coconut is a sweet, easygoing rum made from Caribbean sugarcane. It is distilled in the U.S. Virgin Islands, then blended with natural coconut flavor and bottled in California. The brand comes from Trinchero Family Estates.
Open the bottle and sweet tropical coconut comes right out. The palate is creamy and sweet, with coconut front and center. It finishes bright and silky. At 21% ABV, it is light and very easy to mix.
It earned 91 points at the Los Angeles International Spirits Competition.
Pour it over ice, or mix it with pineapple juice for a quick piña colada style drink.
