Description
Poulsard du Lias 2022 is a natural wine crafted by , in the Jura region in . This red wine is made with grapes grown on 1.2 hectares of Lias marl soils. The vines are on average 50 years old and are cultivated at a planting density of 7,000 vines per hectare. After hand-harvesting, the grapes undergo a long maceration and spontaneous fermentation in barrels, followed by six months of aging without filtration or added sulfites.
Expect bright forest fruits, a touch of spice, smoke and a soft floral touch… with some of that Tissot magic too! Its a little bigger in mouthfeel than some other natural poulsard, as is common with Tissot wines. Really nice
